I got about five hours of uninterrupted sleep last night, which is some kind of record for me. As a result I feel positively chipper today. Let’s see what I can get done.
One thing that’s slowed down some of my efforts is the fact that I’m fast running out of pictures. I use photos as a basis for almost all of these, but don’t have an especially vast collection. I thought that I would make an appeal for assistance in that respect, as I know that people read this site that might have access to some pictures I don’t have. I’ll just throw out some names, and if it’s the name of someone you know that I know, try sending me a picture or two:
Billy, Jett, Mike, Annick, Nana, Anu, Sandy, Angela, Anderson, Bill, Fruit Bat, Lucia, Erik, and Tim.
If I think up any others I’ll point out as much, though this should be a decent start(if I get anything).

He tended to not know what was going on.
Faraz was in fencing. His name was misspelled in the newspaper once, and I kind of went with it. He was Pakistani in descent, but acted more like one of those bleach-headed trendy types that one finds at The Gap. His attire reflected as much, normally a combination of an overpriced shirt and pre-torn blue jeans.
He talked really loud and was a very energetic person. An energetic speaker, at least. He used the above illustrated expression in response to a lot of things with which he had a professed lack of understanding. He was Rod’s perennial company, easily swayed into doing whatever ludicrous scheme Rod could devise. One of the few projects I actually heard of was a film that involved Faraz playing a boy that had fallen in love with his pinata and sought acceptance for as much. They made it into a DVD, with a printed cover and everything.
He worked at a Dairy Queen while in college. He was the one that Greg almost killed. Twice. He had a special way of antagonizing Greg that always resulted in terrible violence. And yet never learned to stop. I didn’t pay attention to what Faraz majored in, though it seemed as though he’d been in college some time. I think he finished up and left the country for a while.

No Person article created Friday night on account of nausea and mental fatigue. Will probably catch up over the weekend.

Clint actually came up with that description.
Chason was in my Photo Block group. I had seen him a couple of times before, in the anime club early on and around the art building, though didn’t really know him. His early work in Block was a bit bizarre, becoming almost entirely pornography by the end of the first semester. After that phase he became more interested in the synthetic, especially in regards to the modern cyborg and robot stuff.
We had overlapping interests in types of humor and games, which tended to serve as the basis for most conversations. He kind of waddled when he walked, he was outspoken about very political topics, and he had an oddly broad range of knowledge on real world events. He went to a small bar downtown often enough that at one point his face was supposed to be added to the wall mural at the entrance.
He had a smug smile that he used a lot, and he didn’t seem like the type that ever got very outwardly angry at anything. Vocal, but not angry. He got tired of Houston and moved out to sunny California for a better job and locale. It’s nicer there, I hear.

This is kind of an odd problem, but my “backup” monitor is starting to fail. It now constantly flickers between a deep, dingy yellow and a bright white tint. I had a new widescreen monitor that died(after three months!) and is awaiting an RMA. This one sometimes clears up long enough to stop distracting me and allow the selection of the right colors while working on an image, though I don’t know how long this poor old thing is going to hold up. If I miss any future posts that’s probably why.
Sadness.
