Hey Santos!

I really enjoyed reading this. I am doing okay here in NC. You ought to visit sometime. It has a beach, turtles, alligators, river, lake, pine trees, magnolias etc. Beach is blue like Corpus. But very pebbly.

I used to go to a lot of artshows with my bro-in-law Julon. This sounds much more lively than those. But it doesn't surprise me. I think this would make a great nonfiction piece and then you can submit it to a journal. All it needs is the "reflection" part and some tweaking of sentence flow, etc. You could connect certain themes and motifs like the wedding in contrast with dessicated corpse/girl calendar (wtf?, btw). What I mean by the reflection part would be stuff like how stuff made you feel and how you sort of analyze the situation/look back on it/compare it to other life scenarios.

Sorry, you'll have to forgive my tendency to read everything as art. Now that I teach creative writing, I am always looking for a story. I have been thinking about writing nonfiction a lot also. Of course, still doing the poetry thing primarily.

Anyway, missed ya and wanted to say hi. I hope all is well in your world. If you e-mail me back, try to send to both addresses.

Best and have a happy Turkey Day,
