A couple of weeks ago I printed out three images in order to test general print quality. After some prodding from a few interested people I’ve decided to list them for sale on my Etsy page: http://paperninja.etsy.com
There are only three images available presently, though I’ll consider printing some different images if those sell. This is still shaky and untrodden ground for me, as I’ve never before sold prints of personal illustrations. Feedback–whether related to the buying/selling process or which images I should try out for the next print run–would be appreciated.

I think this is a good start. But I have a few suggestions. I think you should publish in art/lit journals. Try looking at national publications connected to colleges or google for some. You could try UH’s Gulf Coast Lit and Arts journal. This would be a good way to get exposure. Also, I think you should consider fashion, particularly prints on T-shirts as a way to market your drawings. They sell these print t-shirts at Urban Outfitters for like 50 bucks a pop. Your drawings are simple in design and prob easily translated to fashion. I imagine them on tissue cotton fabric with a scoop neck or v-neck in womens and reg neck for mens. But in the men’s I think you should go with a tailored t-shirt that contours the body (the skinny shirts I call em). OK, and you should up the fantastical factor (more crocodiles and butterflies ) and experiment with patterns. Maybe you could buy a book on old fabric patterns and play with that. Anyway, textiles is a good place. Oh and, even better, postcards and stationary. You already know the postcard thing.OK, I’m done. I go on. Later.

PS, can we request prints? I went to the shop and the ones I like most are not there. In fact, I want mine on a t-shirt. Alas, am broke. Maybe for Christmas.
